> We have used a new software program for the design work, with which we have been able to give every single cell a different optimized width proportional to it's chord. In addition we have optimized the angle of each profile according to the line tension.
> The SSS system of the leading edge has been much improved, dividing the special floating reinforcements with a profile form and the cell openings with a kind of 'second skin' over the upper and lower surfaces, so there are neither creases nor any external stitching.
> The end result is a wing which handles extremely well, and that not only remains totally solid when accelerated, without any of the usual creases, but that you can stay accelerated with at times when competitors on other wings have to release their speed systems because of their gliders becoming too unstable. |
