Tempest is the new advanced intermediate glider for a wide range of pilots, from the weekend recreational flyer to the competition pilot.
It is certified DHV 2 and incorporates the latest evolution of the SSS (Security speed System). It has mini floating profiles that re-inforce the leading edge and improve performance across the whole polar speed range.
Thanks to this unique system and the auto-stable profile, we came out with the highest A/R in it´s category. The Tempest´s handling is even faster, more accurate and more precise than our previous intermediate paragliders.
Finally the result is here: The performance of a competition glider is now accessible for the recreational pilot.

> The planform and aerofoil sections have been computer designed with a perfect aerodynamic tension to achieve the best glide possible throughout the speed range.
> The width of it's cells reduce across the span, towards the tips. There are two kinds of diagonal ribs, depending on the thickness and width of the cell. No external seams on either top or bottom surface. No intermediate cells.
> The line layout has been optimised to drastically reduce the total length of lines, greatly reducing total drag. Fully-open, ultra high definition leading edge, and with the SSS is extremely rigid. This makes the Tempest's incredible balance of high safety and the high performance the best in intermediate wings. |
